Interview
« on: February 24, 2014, 05:27:34 am »
After 11 month wait and a less than 5 minute interview approved and finished. For the moment. Never thought I would find the woman of my dreams in a country town on the east coast of the DR.  :luv: Through dating multiple Dominicanas (could not find one that I could trust) I found a beautiful woman who always home and calls me every hour of the process. LOL. Most of the women I dated were liars and players. Those women did not last long in my life. We were married on playa Los Gringos. I traveled there every 4-5 weeks of the process. I do not want to see an airplane for awhile.

Thanks. Consulate had a system failure for couple days which set everybody back. After a gazillion airline tickets and too many Presidentes I can relax. I even flew her to Port Au Prince,Haiti and we met in their airport. Worst airport I have ever been in. Earthquake has jacked that country up.

How we met, where we met, do I know her family, does my wife have babies, and told me he has NEVER seen anybody travel to DR as much as I have. What I do for a living. Very serious and respectful interview. Was not hot we were out of there by 9:15 am.

They will not deny for insufficient support, they will put the case in Administrative processing until sufficient support is provided.Best bet find a co-sponsor and have the documents with you on interview day.

About a year.

Surely you can find a friend or family member that can co-sponsor. It can be anyone in the US. But I don't know how you got through the NVC with an insufficient AOS....... Or you have enough in assets to cover maybe?

Congrats!

As far as the household stuff......... It won't be hard to get rid of! All you have to do is put the word out that ya'll are leaving and people will come out of the woodwork. The offers you get won't be the greatest, but that is to be expected. If you're selling, they know you probably have a limited time to get rid of what you need to get rid of. Like Jenny said, take what you can get and walk!

I got pennies for my stuff. It was infuriating. But I sold everything I could and gave the rest away. Good luck!
