I hope someone has had a similar experience. I brought my then girlfriend here, married her and six months later went back and got her children.  My question is since she already has her permanent green card and the children have their conditional permanent residence which will expire in Sep.2014. When I submit the I-751 what proof do I need along with their paperwork. I made copies of their green card front and back, but don't know what else to include. All the proof was submitted with her application. The 800 number was of no help, it sounds like their reading off of a list and don't have any real knowledge.

I am submitting my husband's i751 form today. On the instructions for the form it says to send copies of the PRC, copies of anything you guys have jointly like a bank acct (statement), mortgage contract, car loan contract, etc, copy of birth certificates of any children you guys have together, at least 2 sworn affidavits of knowledge of your marriage - from 2 people who basically attest to the fact that your marriage is real so to speak (has to include their name and address), any anything else that can serve as proof.  There is a sample affidavit on this site under downloads I believe. I also found a few after I googled "sworn affidavit of marriage".  I gathered that it doesn't have to be notarized. Hope this helps!

Please read the instructions for the I-751. Everything is there that you need to send in or fill out. If you have questions about what is in the instructions, we are all here to help you and if you post your questions here we will assist you.
