2 bits of good news regarding shipping from the DR to the USA.

First: My wife sent me some documents via UPS yesterday. The envelope arrived at my house before noon today! yeah

I still can't believe that overnite service is available from the DR to here; especially considering that I live in a little bitty farm town out in the middle of nowhere. Wink

Cost was about $41.50 but well worth it if ya need it in a hurry. I highly recommend UPS; they have locations in Santo Domingo and Santiago.

Second: IMPOSDOM, the Dominican post office takes a beating from most of the regulars here, but I've had pretty good luck with them to date. I recently bought some Embajador chocolate on eBay from a vendor in Santo Domingo. The box arrived here in 13 days in perfect condition. Not bad at all.
