The Dominican American National Roundable (DANR) will hold their 10th annual National Conference from 30 November-3 December. The conference will be held at the Radisson Miami Downtown Hotel in Miami, Florida. This is the only National Conference in the U.S. that brings together Dominicans from around the country for the purpose of community empowerment.

I strongly recommend all our members in S. Florida attend this conference, we all sit here and bitch about the problems with the USCIS, the Consulate and everything else with this system, well here is your opportunity to be heard.

Hi

Well from what I know there are at least 6 members in S. Florida, especially MaimiDR that should have been sitting on their doorstep
It's just a shame to waste such an opportunity to speak directly with Congressman and others that attended and could have actually made a difference

I feel sooo bad because I didn't go.  Sad I live in Tampa and would have flown or driven down if I had known about it.  With the new forum I was only reading the K3 stuff and didn't venture to the other forums.  Hey if anyone knows about these or orther similar meetings are coming up can you post them because I will go next time.   Smiley

Just me personally, and regardless if they have their own agenda, but when an opportunity comes to speak your mind on a subject
its an opportunity to change things, how many times have any of you been in a meeting and changed the scope of that meeting by voicing your opinion on a given subject? I do it all the time.
