When one signs the i-134 affidavit, what does the part that say "my commision expires________" mean?

If I am not mistaken,  this pertains to the person whom is notarizing the document this person will have to put in the expiration date.  Let us see what the rest of the DTTUSA Family have to say.  compute

Sent out MO 12/8/03 along with DS-3032 and Immigrant Visa Fee Bill
1/15/04 Received Petitioner Packet
Nothing happened for a year
Received Notice that Visa fee amount was changed
Sent out new fee on 9/16/05
After long wait decided to file for K-3
USCIS Received 10/20/05
I Received NOA 12/3/05
Received I-130 Appt July 2007
IR-1 Interview, July 26, 2007-Case is in AR.
K-3 Interview 10/07 (didn't go) Thought that AR would be resolved soon!!!

Everything on hold due to an irresponsible third party without concern for best interest of a child. FML

I got it notarized here in the DR at the consolado and I asked the notary if she was to sign in the area at the bottom, and she gave me a confused look and told me "you're the one who has to know what this document says".  She signed a separate sheet that she stapled onto the front of the document.

That is were the notary is supposed to put  the expiration fate as pthers have said. BUT, the last time I had any notary work done was in a bank and they did it how you said.
Signed a seperate sheet with the notary seal and put the end commission date there.

Everyone is correct that is the expiration date of the notary.  You should be good because you got it notarized at the consulate.
