It did notify me by email when my I-130 was approved. However it did not when my K3 was canceled.

Yes.. But some people have found that even though they have received there NOA1 there case was still not in the system yet. But it will be there eventually.

Flisa you can actually register before you get your NOA1.

If you paid by check and have acess to electronic copies of your check online, you can look on the back of the check for an EAC number and enter it into the system.  You can do this once your check has cleared.

Please don't confuse them. You CAN register with an I-130, I did it. They are just a bit slow getting things in the system right now. I am sure they won't be that way forever.
