      trying to get back into my dttusa family lol (now that i can sleep for more then 3 hours at a time lmao)
to refresh my memory, its 90 days before the GC expires right?

We will be lifting in October of this year. 

We don't have an official lease but was going to type one up showing me and hubby as renters then get it signed by owner and notarized.  Hope that's a good idea...

Sound good to me.. That's all a lease is.. A written agreement between the owner and the renter..

Great details mojo, We just lift our condition (02/01/2010) and we received the noa1(02/05/2010) stating the one year extension. We are just waiting for the bio appoint.

Hey gang,
      Couple quick questions. I have to lift conditions end of april. Welny arrived here on Aug 1,2008 so like last week of April i have to send that out.
My question is this. I dont have a lease where we live because its an inherited property and is still  under an estate( i dont understand it). Can i just make up a lease since the property will eventually belong to me? Also, our car insurance is only under my name because he has a provisional licence lol because he didnt have a licence in dr. So his licence is limited to only NJ lol. We have taxes, bank statements, insurance, dental insurance, and we even have a kid! do you think that is enough. I really dont think they would give us a hard time?

Mune, you have to check the date on the GC of when it was issued..it's 90 days from that date, NOT from the day he entered..

Si, you should be good with all that...baby's BC is a plus. yeah

Yes, so the GC was issued 4/20/09...so he lifts condition after 01/20/11, which is 90 days before the 2 year expiration..

oh wow, ok great thanks Tubaby! i swore up and down it was from the date his passport was stamped that he came in the US. That would have been some shit if i sent out papers this april lol

Thanks. She only had to wait 8 years and 2 months for the cita. Her brother had his a few weeks back and had the visa in his hands 4 days later
