Im new to this site, I tried to create a new topic, but SOMEONE locked it.. anyway, I started the process to bring my fiance in JUne of 2009, we got the receip, 2 approval notices, and boom after that nothing... so yesterday I decided to call the NVC, they told me the case was at the dominican embassy already, I called the embassy today( to all of this I dont even have a SDO#) so they looked us up my name.. our case is in fact there, so much so that out Cita was for january 28th, 2010... now they said we need to wait until the schedule list for May comes up ( now please can someone tell if they went through the same situation?, and if there's anyway to accelerate the process, or if  when we get the new Cita will we be affected by this tiny missunderstanding) Huh?.. any help will be appreciated.

Ramdia, the reason your topic was locked was because you had already asked the same question in the thread listed below where you introduced yourself and it was answered there.  Bangin Ma a moderator locked it because you can not have another thread going at the same time with the same exact question.  Now you have new information so you can either go back to your original post and continue reply there with the new one or because it is kind of a new question you can start another topic.  I know you are new and don't yet understand the rules of the forum but it is considered impolite to hijack someone else's thread with a totally different topic.
