Yes, it would be a problem!
A big one! Wanna save money, go as often as you can.
At least every 3 month.
The subject has been discussed here before, look it up.

I think it would depend how many times you have been prior to getting married.  If you went quite a bit and then slowed down after marriage some.  I don't think it will be as big a deal.  If you can go again, then I think you should.

just like you I got married in July and then my next trip was not until Jan.  But I would suggest to try and go on one of those cheap weekends when they have the flights for good deals.

I too haven't been back since we got married in August...and I will be going in March not only because I miss him but because I believe it's a good idea to go againg before the cita.

I would say to try your best to make another visit.

HELLLLO PEOPLE.... I understand $$$ may be tight, BUT you need to visit your spouses.  Even if it is just the weekend--leave Friday afterwork take the superearly flight back on Monday and you have 2 whole days together and invaluable evidence of the bona fides of the relationship.

Just because YOU know your relationship is real, the consular officers don't.  I mean really... take a step back and imagine it is someone else.  What kind of husband/wife doesn't visit?  You can find all sorts of excuses, and they may be legit, but you can't guarantee that anyone else will buy it.

Yes, you definitely want to go.. The more times, the better. I'm not sure if it matters how long you go for as long as you're going. I know when they looked at my passport, I had a bunch of stamps. But some of the entry stamps were on different pages than the exit stamps. I think they just looked at the stamps in general. At the interview, the lady didn't look at the dates (at least not that I noticed). I'm sure if you buy your tickets 3 weeks to a month in advance (maybe even 2 months) then you can get really good deals. Good luck!

You can go a lot, but don't go too many times or else immigration will think you have a drug business in DR. I had to endure long checks everytime I would get back from DR at JFK. There was a time when the immigration officer who was a woman couldn't fathom that I was going away to DR to see my wife. It was ridicules and impossible in her eyes. She even said "what's wrong with the women here in America." I said nada I just fell in love in DR. She rolled her eyes and sent me to be frisked lol.

wow that is ridiculous.

to the OP go as many times as you can. The consular also looked at my passport to see how many stamps I had. Honestly how can a relationship stay alize if you don't see eachother as much???
