Cindyrella .. IF the NVC has GENERATED the request you don't have to wait for it in the mail or email

Have your SO send the COA from his email and save yourself some time

For payments .. you need the invoice number but at least you can get COA going

So I can send them the email of the choice of agent without them sending me the email to do so..OK

If they generated the request and the AVS and the rep told you then yes you can send the email as they are now just waiting for the COA to come back

NVC told me that they sent out the Choice of agent Letter to my So in dr
I provided them with both our emails and she told me that he should receive the email soon.

When u say "Generated what do u mean?

I think thats what she means...once they told you that its going to be mailed and emailed you the COA email can be sent out.

it's just a shortcut to get your case going ... for the next step you will need the invoice # to pay online .. but your emails will be in the system and generate simultaneously

I just called NVC again... and the Rep. said that they still don't see anything in the system.

Do you think it's taking longer waiting for my stepson's case that was just approved this week to be sent together?

Bangin', you have MUCH more patience than I do. Folks, this isn't rocket science, don't send until the request is generated. And no, that does NOT mean you have to wait until you get the request, but just until you know they sent it.

Cindy, watch your quotes, don't cut the first quote off or it won't work. I fixed about 5 of them for you.

My case is moving along....just called and got the SDO#, they received it on Friday. I gave them the emails and they told that when they assign an SDO# for stepson then the cases can be joined.

i received both COA & AOS invoice yesterday (email). Do we do COA first (from SO's email) and then wait a wk to pay AOS or can we do both since both have been generated?

You can do both at the same time. Send the email and pay the fee. You don't need to wait to pay the AOS fee. Is for the IV fee ($400) that you will have to wait to pay it.
