I used to read this site a few years ago before I filed our visa petition, now hubby is going on 2 yrs in US and we are coming up on our 2nd wedding anniversary! Hubby is working (with benefits!) plus my bonus son has spent 2 birthdays here with us and has lapped his dad in English. He was also one of those still on the biberon at 6 yo, and after about 3500 dollars in corrective dental work, I'll tell anybody, get your kid of that milk bottle FAST! Anyways, thanks for having us! wave

@BanginMa

That's what I said, but you best well believe that his last day in DR was his last day on the biberon. Actually, I asked him "Do you still want to drink out of a bottle?" And he said no and threw it in the garbage himself (of course it had been packed in with his luggage by Abuela). From there the healing began.

Yeah, and your bonus baby is still small so things should be a lot smoother, though the best is to get them before they learn to say "no" hehe.

Lord help you, you know with girls it goes "no", then eye rolling, then "talk to tha hand" hehehehehe

That's great she likes your littles and that you have mommy experience, that should make things go much better, and being in another country definitely helps mitigate the babymama drama to some degree. Wow, you'll have 2 new littles in your world at the same time!

the quoting was getting out of control hehe.

Yeah girl, you better call it something else, changing pampers will be "haciendo chocolate y limonada" and mopping will be "bailando en la cocina" hehe That way when mami calls its all gravy.
