I used to read this site a few years ago before I filed our visa petition, now hubby is going on 2 yrs in US and we are coming up on our 2nd wedding anniversary! Hubby is working (with benefits!) plus my bonus son has spent 2 birthdays here with us and has lapped his dad in English. He was also one of those still on the biberon at 6 yo, and after about 3500 dollars in corrective dental work, I'll tell anybody, get your kid of that milk bottle FAST! Anyways, thanks for having us!

That's what I said, but you best well believe that his last day in DR was his last day on the biberon. Actually, I asked him "Do you still want to drink out of a bottle?" And he said no and threw it in the garbage himself (of course it had been packed in with his luggage by Abuela). From there the healing began.

at least hubby's daughter drinks from cups and eats on her own @ 3

Yeah, and your bonus baby is still small so things should be a lot smoother, though the best is to get them before they learn to say "no" hehe.

OMG yes I've seen those, little 4 5 6 year old boys, talking that baby talk,,,,,,oooohh i want to smack 'em, well the parents that's is. 

Yeah is right, he used to curl up in fetal position and roll his eyes up in his head while he drank out of that baby bottle with the big ass hole in the nipple  . It was really disturbing. And then Abuela would be sweatin my hubby about buying that expensive azz powdered milk to enable the sickness.    It was all kinda crazy. Then to top it off he had to get extensive dental work done when he got here because 6 years of going to bed with a biberon had rotted nearly all his teeth. Lovely. Oh, did I mention he had never been for a dental checkup so he was terrified and had to be given valium for kids?  *pasame la boteeelllaaaaaaaaaa***  Yeah, keep your baby off the nighttime bottle.
