Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to give an update!  Everything is great champagne  We are very happy with the transition.  Hubby got a Computer Programmer job with a great company, and he continues to write for our blog, www.admixweb.com  I am still working as an attorney representing Latinos, which is great!  Our blog is doing very well, and is going higher and higher in the rankings!  We joined a Latino Catholic Church, and they have been so welcoming...they even had us bring up the gifts our first day!  Hubby got a 3.5 GPA last semester and has a 4.0 GPA this semester and will graduate in December of this year!  AND, we are ready to try for kids!  YEAH!!!  I am so excited!  I will keep you posted with that! banana

Anyway, time is flying so fast!  But, we are so happy together here in the states!  Love the site and all the support we get!  Thanks Smiley Smiley Wink Smiley Wink Cheesy Grin

~December 10, 2008 Sent DS-2030 via E-mail
~December 11, 2008 AOS fee paid on-line
~December 17, 2008 Accepted DS-2030 @ NVC
~December 27, 2008 - Received IV Fee Invoice.
~January 05, 2009 -Paid IV Fee online
~January 14, 2009- Overnight I-184EZ
~January 26, 2009 -Overnight DS-230
~January 31, 2009- ALL papers are at NVC
~February 04, 2009- CASE IS COMPLETE
~March 26, 2009 - I called and found out my CITA date
~March 27, 2009 -Cita date notification via e-mail
~April 14, 2009- SO had his MEDICAL done(Pick up is on 5/01/09)
~May 1, 2009 I leave to DR for the CITA
~May 5, 2009 CITA date- (APPROVED)
~May 8, 2009 Domex Pick up of Visa
~May 12, 2009 POE
~June 09, 2009 SS Card (reapplied after JFK botched Job)
~June 27, 2009 GC
~August 17, 2009 - 4/11/10 1st Permanent Job
~November 19, 2009 Driver's License

April 30th 2009-Filed I-130 Husband and Mom @ US Cons. SDQ
May 14th-Received Husband's approval letter and interview packet!!
Also received Mom's approval letter, interview packet is lost in the mail?Huh?
May 2?-Picked up Mom's packet @ consulate. Thanks Tim!
June 17th-Mom and Husband Doing Medical Exam! Yay! Almost done! wave
June 25th-Open cita....Placed under A/R. Husband possible match with two arrest files.......SO WRONG!!!
July: Hopeful! Very Hopeful!
October-Mom received her visa!-hubby still on AR
December 13th Mom's POE JFK!
December 15th-Finally received a request for additional Documents.
December 17th-turned in Documents requested at the consulate--waiting game again!

Thanks. She only had to wait 8 years and 2 months for the cita. Her brother had his a few weeks back and had the visa in his hands 4 days later
