Well I'm back. Just got in this morning without hubby. He gave his two weeks notice and will be here soon.

So this is what happend:

We got there like at 5:45 am. The buscones (with IDs) were doing there thing. I suggest you guys ask the guardia where you have to line up because while Simeon parked the car I went to lined up but I was on the wrong one because I listened to una buscona. We got on the correct line even though it was for earlier citas. Went thru security, sat on metal benches in front of a fan. By this time its about 7:00 am. Around 8:30 am Simeon is called to window 24. I stayed sitting down to hold the seats. He asked for the BP fee receipt, medical results, police certificate and me. He told the lady I was sitting down and she said ok. We were given #456. We decided to eat something then before we are called again. They really abuse with the prices at that cafeteria. Ok...around 9:00 am number is called to window 13 for the fingerprints. We sat. Back down. At around we were called to window 25. I got worried because I notice that window is separated from the others and the 25 is in RED. I take a deep breath and this is how the interview went:

White, skinny man with glasses says in spanish that he will swear us in...

To Simeon and Yariel he asked their names. To Simeon, if he has children and do we have children in common. To me he asked my name and if I have children and their names and also if we have any in common. He asked me in spanish but I answered in english so he told me that we will do the interview in english. He asked to see my passport, looks thru it and asked how many trips have I made, I told him 7 with this one since we met. Then he asked if I have another passport so I told him it was stolen so I had to take out a new one. He looked at the last page of the passport where there is a statement that says that that passport is a replacement for a stolen passport. He gives it back. Then he asked for me to tell him how we met and how our relationship developed. I told him our story. Then he asked how long we've been married. He asked if we had joint bank accounts or any property with both our names. I told him we don't. By that point he seems like he has nothing else to ask and I'm starring at him just waiting for a question or request for something. Simeon and Yariel are just standing quietly behind me. So the councel guy asked if I brought pictures. I pulled out 4 little album books and I ask him if he wants to see wedding pictures or family pictures. He said not the wedding because they already know we are married. Ok so I pass to him the other albums. He looks thru one, thru the second one, and on the third one he asked who was that on one picture and when was this on another picture. He finished looking thru it and said, ok,very good, pass them back and tell us to wait there for a moment. Right there I turned back at Simeon and we chat about nothing...we were relaxed but nervous. Council guy is typing away on his computer, writes on a blue or green slip ontop of our file, I think he also stamped it. He says, ok we are done, gives us the slip. Simeon and me are a little lost looking at him and smiles and said in spanish, congratulations, everything is good now take that to the table down there to pay for Domex. We thanked him and before going down the steps I turned around to Simeon and hugged and kissed him. Everyone there was looking at us, but I did not care. I was soo happy and excited. We paid Domex, they told us to call the number in a week. We will have it delived to the Santiago office.
We were out by 10:30 am. I really thought it was going to be much worse. And after I saw that MLacen stormed out looking unhappy I expected the worse.

I am very greatful to all of you that helped me thru this. I was overly prepared, the only proof they asked for were the pictures but I felt good that I was ready for whatever they asked.
And now to get ready for his arrival....
